Models and Rigs

Modelling and rigging was one of the hardest tasks I've encountered. The first model was out of proportion as I did not use a reference image. The second model I made was not baked properly and the controls had glitches and jitters. The last model was still not perfect but a lot better than the rest.

The smoothed version of the models looked good in Maya but when it was put into the game, the character style (smoothness) did not match with the polygonal trees and rocks, therefore we switched the character to a more boxy polygonal look which was not difficult and did not require re-modelling.

There are also rigs of the fairy queen and umbrella but the test was not recorded

Below are tests of the rigs to ensure it can animate.
