Other Character Concepts

I have two and a half concepts for the enemies - those on the left and possibly the character with the top hat. I wanted to convey the idea with money hungry, dead, and unimaginative hence the ghoul looking creature, the T.V head and top hat (businessmen).

The real trouble was picking Mae's imaginary childhood spirit/friend. Since the game is leaning towards a darker overall theme, I tried keeping the characters not too cute and childish but the entire game is about cherishing childhood and clearing the mind from the traps of society. The Top hat and chicken is leaning too much towards a childish design but the fox isn't really related to Mae much. With the top hat I can say he was a childhood toy that came to life, the chicken can originate from her farm, however the fox doesn't fit with her storyline. Therefore I am conflicted with which character design to use for the spirit.
